[Anglican Journal] There’s a new sign on a 41-acre (17 ha) cornfield in Vineland, Ontario.
Towering over local farmer Larry Dyck, the orange sign bears a photo of a smiling child, and the words “Grow Hope” in big letters. In smaller type, underneath, are the logos of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank and Bethesda Services, a Mennonite-run organization for people with special needs.
[Anglican Communion News Service] The bishops of the Church of England have begun a process of “episcopal discernment” on issues of sexuality. The process began this week at a meeting of the College of Bishops – all diocesan and suffragan bishops in the province – and will continue through to next year at meetings of the House of Bishops – all diocesan and a selection of elected suffragans – in November and December; and the next College of Bishops meeting in January.
